Nutanix appoints Andrew Diamond as ANZ channel director
Andrew Diamond, Nutanix

Nutanix has named Andrew Diamond as its Australia and New Zealand channel director.

He replaces Niall O'Gorman, who left the vendor in September to join Amazon Web Services’ channel team.

Diamond will be responsible for leading Nutanix’s channel business and managing all partnerships in the region, which includes vendors and solutions providers like Dell, Lenovo, Dimension Data and Qirx.

He previously served as Nutanix’ Lenovo alliance manager for ANZ, a role he started in March this year.

Prior to joining Nutanix, he worked in various roles at Dell, Dimension Data and Flight Centre.

“Andrew knows Nutanix well and has unique experience from working on both sides of our channel,” Jacob Pereira, Nutanix channel director for Asia Pacific and Japan, said.

“He has already established great relationships with many of our key partners and is perfectly positioned to build further success with them and find new partners to build out our enterprise cloud OS software.”

Diamond will report directly to Pereira, tasked to further develop existing partner relationships, as well as identifying and new partnership opportunities in the region.

“Nutanix has a strong and growing channel presence in Australia and New Zealand,” Diamond said.

“Partners which see the opportunities and can evolve from traditional infrastructure frameworks into delivering software-driven applications to businesses have found and will continued to find success with Nutanix – these are the types of partners we’re looking for.”
