The NSW Telco Authority is searching for a managed service provider (MSP) to deliver support services across its operational ICT portfolio.
The authority delivers radio communications to first responders and essential services across the state via the Public Safety Network (PSN).
The Telco Authority's operational ICT portfolio is the enterprise environment that supports the PSN, comprising of IT infrastructure and network platforms and services.
In a request for tender published on 22 November 2023, the Telco Authority said it is seeking an MSP to provide 24x7x365 support of its operational ICT portfolio.
This will include ITILv3 aligned IT service management covering incident, problem and change management, as well as monitoring and patching services.
The operational ICT portfolio comprises several technology domains, including compute infrastructure, recovery services, network infrastructure, cloud services and end-user compute.
MSP resources accessing critical infrastructure must be located in Australia and baseline vetted.
The successful MSP is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024 or earlier.
The request for tender will close on 31 January 2024.
