Cyber Security NSW is seeking IT partners to deliver a cybersecurity risk management platform that will be rolled out to the state's government agencies and local councils.
Its aim is for the platform to help NSW government entities understand and manage their own cyber risk posture and identify cyber maturity uplift requirements.
In a request for tender published on 8 November, Cyber Security NSW said it will engage the successful partner for an estimated one-year term to deliver a platform that allows entities to assess and manage cybersecurity risks via rating scores.
Its capabilities will include automated detection of identity and credential breaches, detection of stolen data, industry-based cybersecurity comparisons as well as vendor risk assessment and remediation.
The platform will also provide on-demand security assessments and customisable reporting.
The successful partner will need to onboard around 300 government entities to the platform and provide an account manager for fortnightly engagements.
The request for tender will close on 6 December 2023.
