Next Level 2026, the flagship conference of the SMBiT Professionals industry organisation, is set to bring together hundreds of technology service providers (TSPs), vendors and industry players for a two days event focused on growth, strategy and the future of the IT industry.

The conference - taking place on 23 and 24 July at the Western Sydney Convention Centre - will be headlined by keynotes from economist Dr Sherman Chan and entrepreneur Gus Balbontin, alongside sessions tackling topics such as monetising AI, building resilience and getting processes and workflows right.

Balbontin, an entrepreneur, investor and former executive director and CTO of Lonely Planet, will challenge delegates to focus on adaptability over forecasting, while Chan, chief economist at the Australian Property Institute, Lecturer in Economics at UNSW and principal at Sherman Chan Economics, will aim to help delegates make sense of a turbulent landscape.

“Our members are ready for deeper capability, stronger partnerships, and practical strategies that drive real impact,” said Vivien Dehamer, executive officer of SMBiT Professionals.

“Next Level 2026 will bring together leaders from across the industry to share ideas, challenge thinking, and help our community continue to grow."

SMBiT Professionals rebranded their event to ‘Next Level’ for 2026 to reflect their “rapidly expanding” membership base and new chapters, Dehamer told techpartner.news earlier in the year.
