As a distributor of the Services Provider License Agreement for Microsoft in Australia, it has been appointed as the sole distributor of VMware’s Service Provider Program (VSPP) in the ANZ region.
According to Doug Tutus, CEO of NewLease, virtualisation is in great demand across the whole IT industry.
“VMware is at the forefront of virtualisation, so it was the natural choice when we looked at ways to expand our service offerings in the space,” he said.
NewLease has five years experience within the hosting community. Via the VSPP, service providers can utilise VMware on a month-to-month subscription basis.
It is the only software licence distributor in Australia with a strict focus on software as a service (SaaS)and is the first organisation in Australia to facilitate service provider licensing programs for Microsoft, Trend Micro and VMware.
The company has its headquarters in Melbourne and offices in Sydney, Singapore and subsidiary offices in Chennai and Bangalore.
