New Zealand artificial intelligence and automation consultancy Quanton has hired technology industry veteran Chris Wyman to spearhead its Australian expansion.
Wyman joins as head of growth and development after more than 20 years in the Australian tech sector, including senior roles at Freshworks and monday.com.
He was most recently sales director for data and technology company Epsilon.
The appointment is part of Quanton's growth strategy to expand its presence in Australia, where the company already has an established client base.
"I have a deep understanding of AI, RPA and digital transformation," Wyman said.
"Supported by Quanton's existing team, I will be working closely with local organisations to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences and unlock new levels of productivity."
Founded in New Zealand in 2016, the company aims to help organisations across Australia and New Zealand save five million hours annually through practical solutions that deliver tangible business value.
"We believe that people should be empowered by technology, not replaced by it," Garry Green, Quanton founder and managing director, said:
"The future of work is about enhancing human potential through thoughtful and ethical integration of artificial intelligence and automation."
Green said Quanton has experienced steady growth in Australia over the past two years, with momentum continuing to build in recent months.
"The ANZ AI market is experiencing rapid growth, with investment projected to quadruple in 2025," he said.
"Many businesses are shifting from evaluation to implementation, focusing on practical applications like agentic automation within their business and customer service."
