Netpoleon signs XM Cyber threat exposure platform for ANZ
Paul Lim, Netpoleon.

Netpoleon has signed a distribution agreement with security vendor XM Cyber for the company's threat exposure management (CTEM) platform for the Australia and New Zealand markets.

The platform identifies and prioritises security vulnerabilities based on potential attack paths rather than traditional vulnerability scoring methods.

XM Cyber's approach claims to address limitations in conventional vulnerability management, where organisations struggle to prioritise fixes across extensive lists of identified security issues.

The platform analyses vulnerabilities alongside identity permissions and system misconfigurations to map potential attack routes to critical business assets, considering user privileges, network connectivity, and system configurations to model realistic attack scenarios.

"XM Cyber's channel first strategy and technology roadmap will serve both channel partners and end users well," Netpoleon ANZ regional director Paul Lim said.

"The team at Netpoleon ANZ shares our goals of helping organisations strengthen their security posture through end-to-end exposure management," Stree Naidu, vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan at XM Cyber said.

XM Cyber products are available through Netpoleon ANZ from today.
