Security distributor Netpoleon has expanded its partnership with cybersecurity vendor Adaptive Shield to distribute its solutions across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Tel-Aviv-headquartered Adaptive Shield offers a SaaS security posture management (SSPM) platform that enables businesses to monitor and manage security across their SaaS environment and help ensure compliance with major security standards.
Netpoleon said the partnership will help meet the demand for SSPM solutions in ANZ as businesses increase investment in cybersecurity following the upswing in SaaS data breaches targeting the region in the past year.
Gartner research cited by Netpoleon revealed that 87 per cent of CIOs in ANZ will be prioritising investment in cybersecurity in 2024.
“Adaptive Shield represents a new domain (SSPM) in cybersecurity, where organisations in ANZ have started to rely heavily on SaaS offerings as a key part of their business,” Netpoleon's ANZ regional director Paul Lim said.
Adaptive Shield’s expansion into ANZ is a continuation of its partnership with Netpoleon’s parent company, Macnica in Asia-Pacific.
“Netpoleon's security expertise will enable it to play a pivotal role in expanding Adaptive Shield’s presence in the region at a time when attack vectors are rapidly evolving," Adaptive Shield's CEO and co-founder Maor Bin said.
“This partnership is another step toward expanding the SaaS app security across Asia-Pacific to enable security teams to prevent and detect threats throughout their entire SaaS stack."
