NBNCo has appointed ex-BT executive Claire Rawlins as the chief information officer for the National Broadband Network.
She will be responsible for IT strategy architecture, delivery and support of NBN’s extensive IT systems and applications, the company said.
Rawlins, who is currently a consultant to AAPT, has 25 years’ IT industry experience.
She was recently the managing director for group technology at BT Design, a division of British Telecom, but has also held senior IT positions with Fidelity Investments and Qwest among others.
NBNCo also today appointed the Queensland Premier’s chief of staff, Mike Kaiser, as its government relations and external affairs principal. He will start the job next month.
