Myriad IT has celebrated its 15th anniversary by announcing it will open new Sydney CBD office.

The new branch will host eight staff who were previously working remotely or based at customer sites.

Starting as a technology consultancy for Oracle JD Edwards in 1999, Myriad IT has expanded to become a broader business solutions provider.

The company’s first engagement was with Smorgan Steel for Y2K consultancy on JD Edwards OneWorld. The company soon branched out to support other technology surrounding JD Edwards. Other clients included Scholastic and DTZ, who are still partners today.

As well as being an Oracle Gold partner, Myriad also achieved Microsoft Gold partnership for mid-market solutions this year.

Shannon Moir, practice director for Oracle consulting and Myriad IT founding partner, said he was proud of Myriad’s history and how it’s evolved over time.

“From our technical origins to now be a full service consultancy able to meet, end-to-end, the current and future needs of clients across all aspects of technology is a phenomenal achievement,” he said.

The Melbourne-based company employs 40 staff across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
