Sydney-based managed services provider Secure Agility has started offering GovDC services through an in-house developed cloud platform.
The platform, dubbed OurDC4, was developed alongside vendor partners Cisco, Rubrik and Pure Storage. Offerings include Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki), desktop-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-a-service and data protection-as-a-service.
OurDC4 is housed within NSW GovDC, two state government-owned data centres in Sydney and Wollongong.
Secure Agility technology director Charlie Tannous said the vendor partners were chosen for their capabilities and complementary services.
“For example, we can now use [Cisco and PureStorage’s] FlashStack as a converged solution for on-premise infrastructure for the Hybrid Cloud Platform, allowing customers to seamlessly integrate compute and storage resources with Kubernetes clusters,” Tannous said.
FlashStack is a joint offering from Cisco and PureStorage, combining the latter’s all-flash arrays with Cisco UCS servers and Nexus switches in converged infrastructure systems.
“And with Rubrik, enterprises built on Cisco technology can deliver near-zero recovery times, accelerate application development, and unlock actionable insights on operational efficiency and compliance via custom reporting,” he added.
Chief executive David Abouhaidar said releasing the environment now allows Secure Agility to offer “best of breed” cloud-based infrastructure and multi-cloud services for government and enterprise clients. “We built three identical environments to ensure we could provide efficiency and simplicity,” he said.
