Motorola today announced the pricing and release date for its hotly anticipated Xoom tablet and Atrix smartphone.
Priced at $840, the Xoom will be available exclusively through Telstra from May 24.
Capped plans for the Xoom include $29, $49 and $79 per month, with monthly repayment costs ranging from $15 to $25. (The aforementioned plans come with 1GB, 7GB and 12GB of data quota, respectively.)
The Motorola Xoom, which has been available in the US since late March, is a high-end 10.1in tablet that runs on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform.

It boasts ull HD video playback with 3D graphics acceleration, two cameras (a front-facing 2.0-megapixel webcam and a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera), 720p video recording and a bevy of hi-tech sensors. Support for Adobe Flash and MicroSD memory cards will also be rolled out in a future update.

Motorola Atrix price and release date
The Motorola Atrix smartphone will be available from June 7, also for $840. Telstra is also offering the Atrix on a $59 capped plan (including a data quota of 1.5GB), plus $20 monthly repayments.

The Motorola Atrix features a 2GHz dual core Tegra processor, 1GB of RAM and a long-life 1930mAh battery. The touch screen is a 4-inch qHD display and the phone even comes with a fingerprint reader for added security.
