A born-in-the-cloud migration expert, an application development house and a business intelligence specialist have all scooped two trophies apiece at the annual Microsoft Australia Partner Awards.
Sydney partner Breeze and Melbourne's Kloud and BizData were the only three companies to land more than one award each.
Kloud was named both Microsoft's Cloud Solutions Partner of the Year as well as Collaboration and Content Partner of the Year.
Breeze was recognised as Application Development Partner of the Year and Health Partner of the Year – both awards for a high-profile project for Bupa Dental.
BizData scored two awards: Business Intelligence Partner of the Year and Data Platform Partner of the Year.
A spread of partners were celebrated across the other 15 categories.
It wasn't just Sydney and Melbourne firms up on stage at the ceremony on the Gold Coast. Perth-based Ignia took home one of the most highly competitive categories to be named Enterprise Partner of the Year; and Brisbane's Data#3 won Licensing Solution Provider of the Year,
Dicker Data, which acquired Express Data this year, was named Distributor Partner of the Year Award for its Office 365 offering.
It reflects an increasing closeness between Dicker and Microsoft: not only did the ASX-listed distie add a swathe of Microsoft solutions through the ED buyout, but earlier this year Dicker became an authorised distributor of Microsoft OEM software as well as Full Packaged Products and Services
