Satya Nadella is making his first trip to Australia as Microsoft chief executive next month to address a developer event in Sydney, meet with several Microsoft clients and pay Melbourne a visit.
Nadella’s exact itinerary is not yet known. However, the trip is expected to be a flying one, during which he hopes to inspire developers working on Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform.
The Microsoft boss is set to open the Microsoft Australia Developer Event on 16 November, in Sydney, by outlining how developers can make best use of the company’s intelligent cloud platform and artificial intelligence.
It is reported he will expand on some key points made during Microsoft’s Ignite conference, where there company revealed a host of new products and updates to its portfolio around security, cloud an AI.
Following Nadella’s keynote, the developer event will see a presentation from Australian developers sharing insights, analysis and live demos related to Azure cloud technology.
