Security vendor Trend Micro has handed over the keys for a new car to an Australian reseller staffer.

Kate Treacey, operations manager at Melbourne reseller Kevcom, was announced today as the winner of a Nissan Micra worth $15,000. She drove away with the prize after coming out on top in a Trend Micro sales incentive promotion.

"We are so pleased to be able to reward Kate and recognise the hundreds of other hard working and successful channel partners across Australia and New Zealand," said Trend Micro ANZ enterprise sales and channel director Indi Siriniwasa.

The competition lured 224 individual entries from 205 resellers across both Australia and New Zealand. The six-month promotion was open to partners at all tiers and even fresh resellers that signed up during the period.

Trend Micro lost its Australian channel manager Robin Marjason in the middle of the competition, leaving Sriniwasa to act in the position.
