Managed services provider SXiQ forges strategic partnership with Tesserent

Cloud and IT managed services provider SXiQ has partnered with ASX-listed managed security specialist Tesserent to combine their capabilities into a single supplier solution.

The company, formerly known as Southern Cross Computers, will support Tesserent’s expansion plans into the enterprise market for secure managed networks and secure cloud services.

Tesserent said the partnership had brought in more business, and the joint pipeline of sales is expected to contribute to its future sales growth.

He adds that the partnership aims to provide SXiQ customers the peace of mind that their cybersecurity requirements are integrated in the company’s offerings from start to finish.

Tesserent chief customer officer Remko Jacobs added that the partnership was crucial to its new go-to-market partner strategy and will expand Tesserent’s ability to deliver large
end-to-end managed IT infrastructure and security projects.

The deal follows Tesserent’s $3.8 million acquisition of Melbourne-based managed services provider Asta Solutions at the end of last month, bringing in 200 clients and 85 staff from its Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland offices.
