A 24-year old man faced Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning accused of murdering Juan Zhang, an employee from Melbourne-based Computers & Parts Land (CPL).
Victorian Police confirmed that Yiwen Pan from Caulfied, Victoria had gone before a brief hearing at the court this morning.
He has been charged with the murder of Ms Zhang and also for the theft of her car, a 1997 Seat Cordoba and around $9100 in cash from CPL.
According to a Police spokesperson, he has been remanded to appear in court in early September.
Police found Ms Zhang's body in morning at 4:40am in the boot her car near a block of flats in Glen Huntly, in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
She was last seen on 18 May leaving her workplace, in Dudley Street, West Melbourne, carrying a large quantity of money.
