Australian cybersecurity firm LMNTRIX has been named one of the top 20 Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) service providers globally in Gartner's 2024 Market Guide for MDR services.

This achievement places the company alongside industry giants such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and Rapid7.

LMNTRIX is the only Australian-founded, privately held firm in this group to achieve such recognition without external funding, relying solely on organic growth.

"This recognition from Gartner is an incredible honour, but it's just the beginning of our journey", said Carlo Minassian, chief executive of LMNTRIX.

He added that to be recognised besides industry peers was humbling.

The company's MXDR platform is designed to detect and respond to threats that often slip past traditional security controls.

LMNTRIX's capability allows businesses to address gaps in their existing defences, for organisations seeking to bolster their cybersecurity posture.

Looking ahead, LMNTRIX has set its sights on becoming one of the top five MXDR vendors globally.

The company is expanding its operations, recently establishing a presence in the UK and strengthening its teams across India, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
