Leidos scores $87 million IT support contract extension with ATO

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has awarded system integrator Leidos Australia a multi-year extension of its ongoing IT support contract.

The $87.1 million extension will see Leidos continue providing service desk and IT service management, but now also includes a modernisation program.

The program covers optimising and transforming current ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes and implementing an improved service integration and management (SIAM) model to support service delivery.

“Leidos Australia is proud of our contribution to the ATO and its customers,” Leidos Australia chief executive Christine Zeitz said. “We are delighted to continue delivering these quality services and supporting the ATO in achieving their strategic objectives.”

Leidos has been providing Enterprise Service Management Center Services (ESMC) to the ATO since 2010, when the company first won the contract.

The contract runs for an initial base period of performance for two years and five months.
