Isonas manufactures IP-based access control solutions for real-time door control.
Basil Delimitros, product manager of IP surveillance at Lan 1, said that Isonas' product set will seamlessly integrate with the distributor's other IP security solutions.
“It rounds off our portfolio in IP surveillance and also allows us to leverage off the other pillars of business that we have in terms of IP security, storage and networking,” he said.
Delimitros said that Lan 1 has spent the past 5 years developing a channel for IP surveillance and is actively looking for resellers interested in branching into the field.
““Access control is a huge market. IT people, if they can get their heads around this sort of stuff, can have a new avenue of business to go to their existing customer base with,” he said.
“Everyone is always looking for that new opportunity to grow their revenue stream by something that differentiates them from the also-ran player.”
Lan 1 will be launching ISONAS’ IP reader portfolio at the Security 2008 Exhibition that runs over two days from the 26 to the 28 of August at the Sydney Exhibition Centre.
