Kinetic IT has been awarded a contract with an estimated value of $96 million, to provide end-to-end technology services for Main Roads Western Australia (Main Roads).
Kinetic IT will deliver a suite of services including service management, cyber security, cloud infrastructure, IT and OT network services, service centre and end user support, strategic business and planning services, and project management office support.
Kinetic IT has partnered with ProAV for meeting room solutions and Akkodis for the application services component, with Kinetic IT as lead partner.
To support the engagement, Kinetic IT will expand its team by approximately 45 new roles dedicated to delivering technology services to Main Roads.
Kinetic IT’s group executive for transport, resources, energy and commercial, Cassie Loder, described the new partnership as a significant milestone for Kinetic IT.
“Our crew will be supporting the people that manage around 19,000 kilometres of road across the state and serving Main Roads’ mission to ensure Western Australians reach their destinations safely and efficiently,” she said.

The WA Police Force has at least two long-term IT services arrangements set to expire in early 2026, one of which includes a $260 million infrastructure services arrangement with Kinetic IT.
