Kinetic IT appointed to WA government’s IT procurement panel

Kinetic IT has been appointed as a pre-approved supplier to the Western Australian Government’s CUATIS2024 Technology Infrastructure and Solutions panel.

CUATIS2024 is the State Government’s new whole-of-government buying arrangement for technology infrastructure and solutions, replacing the expired GovNext-ICT CUA, designed to give agencies greater flexibility and autonomy in fulfilling their ICT strategies while maintaining competitive access to reputable, secure, and modern ICT solutions.

The agreement runs for five years, with an option for a further two-year extension.

Under the arrangement, Kinetic IT is pre-approved for Panel 1 – Infrastructure & Facilities  (including Category 1A, Networking Equipment and Category 1B, Data Centre Equipment) as well as Panel 3 – Managed Services (including Category 3B, Managed Infrastructure).

These panels cover the resale, installation and integration of networking products including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions, along with the design and delivery of data centre products such as servers, storage, UPS and core infrastructure.

Panel 3 extends this capability to end-to-end managed infrastructure for on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments; all with clear scopes and a standardised ordering process.

Pre-approval under CUATIS2024 means WA Government agencies can turn to Kinetic IT as a partner for the entire lifecycle of their infrastructure needs.

David Lyons, Kinetic IT’s director of regional engagement WA, said being selected for CUATIS2024 demonstrates Kinetic IT’s trusted relationships and proven track record with WA agencies.

“We are local and understand local context; we can draw from our trusted relationships with local customers, and with support from our national partner network, deliver solutions that are citizen and outcome focused," he said.

The appointment builds on recent wins in the State Government, including Main Roads Western Australia selecting Kinetic IT as lead partner for end-to-end technology services in April 2025, and Landgate awarding a 10-year managed services contract commencing 1 November 2024.

Victoria Police also recently signed a $185 million renewal of its now decade-long IT support agreement with Kinetic IT.
