Juniper appoints new ANZ boss
Nathan McGregor

Multinational vendor Juniper Networks has appointed Nathan McGregor as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

McGregor replaces Mark Ablett in the role. The company said in a statement that Ablett is "transitioning to the newly-created role of vice president, South Asia" and that McGregor would be reporting to him.

As managing director, Juniper stated that McGregor will be responsible for "revenue and profitability growth" and "overseeing all country and sector operations".

McGregor was most recently key account director for Telstra, having served in senior sales positions with Juniper Networks since 2006. The company said he was "responsible for account management and revenue growth of Juniper’s business with and through Telstra, both as a customer and a partner".

McGregor previously held senior roles at Airwide Solutions, Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson Australia, according to the statement from Juniper.

Juniper Networks globally employs more than 9,400 people and accumulated US$4.7 billion of revenue last year.
