Mobile and wireless distributor Brightpoint has become the main supplier of Jabra mobile products to the retail channel.
GN Netcom - owners of the Jabra brand - said it has extended its long standing relationship with Brightpoint to now include mobile bluetooth headsets and speakerphones.
According to the vendor, the new deal meant Brightpoint has become the "major distirbution partner to service its retail channel" in Australia and New Zealand.
The move follows ASX-listed distributor Cellnet's decision to terminate its relationship with the mobile headset vendor last month.
At the time the Queensland-based distie claimed Jabra was inconsistent in providing sufficient stock of key product lines.
Jabra's mobile division is managed out of GN Netcom's Singapore office.
