Converged IP service provider, IP Systems has chosen Huawei Technologies to supply it with DSLAM equipment.
The agreement will see IP Systems using Huawei’s UA5000 DSLAMs to deliver business and residential ADSL2+ services across regional Australia.
Andrew Cox, spokesperson for IP Systems said the company would roll out the services toward the end of the year.
“Huawei has developed a DSL platform that supports converged services. This means we can provide business grade voice and data services to companies and new IP TV services to our residential customers,” he said.
“We will be deploying the products to the Easter Gold Fields region in Western Australia and the Fraser region in QLD.”
