Internet security product launched in Australia

Veritech CEO said this is a coup for Griffith and will position the company at the 'cutting edge' in internet security in Australia.

"Endian has produced a world-class security product and I'm delighted that Veritech's relationship with Endian allows us to make this technology conveniently and economically available to all businesses, large and small, throughout Australia and the Pacific region" said Mazzon.

To integrate the Endian UTM systems Veritech is developing a token-based VPN security certificate for OpenVPN.

Unlike other OpenVPN products this will be user-friendly, fast and reliable for all businesses, bringing Veritech and Australia in line with the leading edge Open Source phenomenon which is sweeping the globe.

"Veritech is constantly looking at ways to improve business for all companies and the development of the OpenVPN token is a means of doing this".

"There are certainly OpenVPN tokens in the marketplace, but they are not servicing the small-medium sized businesses that increasingly need this flexibility.

"We are the first to develop a commercialised version of OpenVPN token and we are excited to be developing and producing the product from Australia" added Mazzon.

All final assembly and quality assurance of the products sold into the Oceanic region will take place in Veritech's Laboratories in Griffith, Regional Australia.

Veritech will also provide first-level technical and warranty support and replacements for all installations in Oceania.

Mazzon said Veritech intends to carry out the final assembly of all units sold throughout Australasia in Griffith.

Software will be loaded and tested here, and Veritech will expand laboratory facilities to help with the quality assurance processes required for each unit produced.

The venture is considered to have enough merit to have been awarded funding for marketing from the NSW Department of State and Regional Development under their New Market Expansion Program.

Veritech will utilise these marketing funds to undertake a marketing plan which will position Veritech Corporation as a leader in Internet Security in the Australasian marketplace.

"We have a comprehensive marketing plan in place, which will allow us to effectively distribute the product in the marketplace. We have positioned the product at an affordable price for small-medium sized businesses that need protection from external threats to their IT security; a position the majority of our competitors have neglected" commented Mr Mazzon.

Veritech's official launch of the Endian Product range is on Wednesday, 8th April at 102 Ortella Street, Griffith.

Guests can network with local business representatives and current users of the Endian technology.
