Managed service provider Interactive will hold a fundraising event to honour the memory of those affected by pancreatic cancer at its Melbourne office on 30 May 2024.
The Pearls of Hope event will pay tribute to Interactive's founder Richard Light who recently lost his battle with pancreatic cancer, as well as advance the company's mission to combat the disease.
The evening will launch Interactive's participation in the 2024 W4R Step Challenge - a national event organised by the company's partner Viridian Financial Group that aims to raise awareness and funds for the Jreissati Family Pancreatic Centre.
Inside Interactive's Light Theatre, attendees will hear from guest speakers including pancreatic cancer survivor Elias Jreissati, who founded the Jreissati Pancreatic Cancer Centre at Epworth - Victoria's largest not-for-profit private hospital group.
He will be joined by Jreissati Pancreatic Cancer Centre director Andrew Metz and Michael Ehrentraut, co-founder and chief sustainability and operations officer of Viridian.
Interactive's executive chairman Brendan Fleiter and chief people officer Merylee Crockett will also feature as speakers.
The evening will conclude with a loud auction for a helicopter ride and chairman's lunch for six people at Levantine Hill Winery in Victoria's Yarra Valley.
