Integeo appoints Singapore distributor

Based in Singapore, it will be the regional distributor for Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Map Intelligence is an application that brings together Business Intelligence (BI) and mapping products.

It represents report charts and tables of data within dynamic maps, plans and images.

Wendy Victorino, director of Integeo SE Asia, said it was excited about the launch as the Map Intelligence solution will 'empower business users to perform location analysis which previously could be performed only by specialists'.

"The potential for business users to benefit from location information is significant because the 'where' dimension in corporate data can be turned into meaningful and actionable insights," said Victorino.

She said its will open up opportunities for improved business processes, more sales, reduced costs and better profitability.

Customers include the US Army, the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, Northern Territory Police Force and Emergency Services and the Department of Families, Housing and Community Services, through to telecommunications, real estate, marketing and retail.

Peter Rossiter, CEO Integeo said opportunities were already opening up in the region.

"We got some great results working with Wendy and her team at our first region event, the Global Security Asia 2009 in Singapore," he said.

"It was evident that people needed to do more than just plot points on a map and we're very happy now to have this excellent presence in the region."
