NSW Meals on Wheels has appointed Andrea Della Mattea as a non-executive member to its board of directors.

Della Mattea was appointed to the Meals board on 16 May.
"I am honoured to accept the position of non-executive director with NSW Meals on Wheels and I’m excited to be joining an organisation that is really making a difference in our community," said Mattea.
"Meals on Wheels provides crucial services to people across Australia every day, thanks to more than 78,700 volunteers nationally. I’m looking forward to working with my peers to contribute to the great work that NSW Meals on Wheels does today and to help shape our organisation to respond to the adapting and changing face of the community."
NSW Meals on Wheels helps people with disabilities through the service of carers who come to people's homes, making it possible for the beneficiaries to keep their independence while in a place they feel comfortable.
Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver nutritious meals and a "friendly check" and has serviced those in need for over 60 years.
"We believe the wealth of experience Andrea holds on a global level will strengthen our corporate partner portfolio and assist with sustaining our position in the future," NSW Meals on Wheels chief executive Les MacDonald.
"We feel fortunate at NSW Meals on Wheels for having the best business and community leaders to lend a hand and guide our organisation."
