Ingram Micro Australia has acquired MaintenanceNet's Service360 cloud-based service contract management platform to make life a little bit easier for its resellers.
The solution, which has been re-branded 'Cisco services portal, powered by MaintenanceNet for the local market, is being pitched as a high-value "channel enablement" tool that is expected to drive substantial new revenue streams for Ingram Micro resellers in the ANZ region.
The star application of the new portal is Auto Quote, an automated administrative tool designed to help resellers stay on top of low-dollar contract renewal opportunities in the channel. The solution automatically creates service renewal quotes, allowing partners to quickly take action at a low sales cost.
According to MaintenanceNet, Auto Quote takes incomplete or inaccurate customer data and turns it into 'actionable business intelligence' in order to improve service sales close rates and enhance the accuracy of service quoting and ordering processes.
All Auto Quotes are pre-validated with Ingram Micro's manufacturer partners and delivered to resellers via email 90 days prior to service expiration, the company said.
"Low-dollar contract renewals require constant attention because of their sheer volume, and staying on top of them is a complex process for our partners," said David Lenz, senior director, enterprise technology group for Ingram Micro Australia in a statement.
"[Auto Quote] eliminates the time and hassle of tracking ongoing service expirations and sending renewal notices to customers. With this new automated capability, our resellers are able to sell more services, increase renewal rates and keep a better pulse on customer needs."
The Cisco services portal, powered by MaintenanceNet will be offered free of charge to Ingram Micro channel partners in ANZ.
