Ingram Micro has become the sole Australian distributor of Philips LCD monitors through a partnership with MMD Singapore, which exclusively markets and sells the monitors worldwide.
Under the agreement, Philips will also add public signage displays to Ingram Micro's product portfolio.
Benjamin Wong, managing director Asia-Pacific for MMD said the team would launch Philips new 2010/2011 range of monitors and public signage displays in September.
Prior to this announcement, Synnex was also a distributor of Philips LCD monitors in the Australian market.
MMD made the changes to their distribution network in Australia to "concentrate resources and position the Philips brand for growth," it said.
