Infoblox unveils Universal DDI for cloud networking

Cloud networking and security services vendor Infoblox has launched its new Universal DDI Product Suite that offers cohesive management of DNS, DHCP, and IP addresses across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The suite aims to break down silos between NetOps, CloudOps, and SecOps teams, providing centralised control and comprehensive asset visibility.

"Network architectures must be reimagined for hybrid, multi-cloud deployments to enable companies to move fast with confidence," said Scott Harrell, chief executive of Infoblox.

The Universal DDI Product Suite includes three new offerings: Universal DDI Management, Universal Asset Insights, and NIOS-X as a Service.

Scott Morris, ANZ managing directoroft Infoblox, pointed to the relevance for regional businesses of the offering.

"Australian and New Zealand enterprises and governments are moving faster than ever to hybrid cloud environments," Morris said.

"This swift transition brings challenges in security, cost, and business continuity, which are the most pressing concerns for businesses and their IT teams," he added.

The suite addresses these challenges at the DNS level, promoting greater automation and improved management of critical network services.

The Universal DDI Product Suite is accessible through a unified Infoblox Portal, designed to facilitate collaboration among various IT teams.
