Previously, he spent eight years working in IBM’s Asia and European operations. Assigned to Tokyo in 1994, he held roles in sales operations, business development and finance.
He then returned to Sydney as general manager of IBM’s Travel and Transport business in 1996.
He was assigned to London in 1998, holding various executive roles including managing IBM businesses in the European telecommunications and travel industries, IBM said in a statement.
