IBM has appointed POS POS to distribute its Retail Store Solutions in Australia.
Under the agreement, POS POS has access to the full range of IBM's SurePOS point-of-sale and AnyPlace Kiosk self-service solutions.
POS POS CEO Daniel Danielli said the distributor has targeted IBM for a number of years.
"The partnership with IBM is in line with our broader vendor strategy where we are focused on best of breed partnerships with a strong channel focus," he said.
Chris Fasseau, Retail Store Solutions lead at IBM said the deal gives resellers "choice when purchasing IBM's retail offerings".
POS POS has appointed Kelli Ponting as its IBM vendor development manager.
Ponting has managed the IBM brand within the distribution channel for several years. She will officially commence with POS POS on 12th April and will be based in Brisbane.
