HTC could be outing a Windows 8 tablet later this year according to a report by FocusTaiwan.
The mystery tablet is rumoured to have a 10.1in full HD screen and will be running Windows 8. Whether or not it'll be the RT or Pro version though, remains to be seen. According to market research firm NPD DisplaySearch, the mystery tablet is already being built at Taiwanese manufacturing company Pegatron, with a launch set to come in the next few months.
It's been a couple of years since the failed HTC Flyer hit shelves, so we're hoping that HTC can replicate the quality of the HTC One in tablet form. If it does, it could be the first Windows 8 tablet to be labelled a true iPad competitor. Fingers crossed.
