Network security appliances vendor WatchGuard has appointed Gurkirat Singh as its northern territory sales manager.
Singh will be responsible for account management, supporting channel partners and developing business strategies for New South Wales, Queensland, ACT and Northern Territory.
Prior to WatchGuard, Singh was with HP for over 10 years, including ANZ general manager for networking, APJ channel and market development manager and personal systems group business manager.
Most recently, he was director of sales and marketing at Watchme Security and Surveillance for over two years.
“We are delighted that Gurkirat has joined us at this time in the company’s growth. He has a strong track record of success in sales and business development within IT and networking and will be a real asset to WatchGuard,” regional director David Higgins said.
Singh replaces former sales manager Chas Doney, who departed in February to join Dicker Data as a business development manager.
