HP has teamed up with designer Vivienne Tam to release a fashionable version of the HP Mini 210 to capture the female netbook users.

The Vivienne Tam Edition has a butterfly designed case debuted on the runway at New York Fashion Week last month.

HP launched the original Mini 210 in January.

The Vivienne Tam Mini comes in an gift-box packaging to provide as well as coordinated accessories - a matching microfibre suede sleeve and Butterfly Lovers wireless mouse.

It weighs 1.2 kilograms and is less than 1-inch thick with a 10.1-inch LED widescreen display.

Two gigabytes of memory comes built in along with a webcam and an additional 6-cell battery. 

Ben Baumgarten, market development manager, Consumer Notebooks, Personal Systems Group at HP Australia said: "Design is important to all our products and we're thrilled that this collaboration brings to life HP's vision for unique devices that match our lifestyles and our needs."

It's available in Australia from mid-April 2010 with a starting price of $799.
