Google will give tech startups a package combining $100,000 of credits for its cloud platform, including 24/7 support, as well as access to its technical team.
The Google Cloud Platform for Startups offer is open to companies that are under five years old and have less than $500,000 in annual revenue.
The offer is being delivered through more than 50 partners – mostly startup incubators, including Australian outfit Fishburners, which Google has called "Australia’s largest startup hub".
Only startups in an approved incubator, accelerator or venture capital fund, and with less than $5 million in funding, are eligible for the offer. Would-be recipients can apply online.
In a blog post, Google's director of Developer Relations, Julie Pearl, wrote: "This offer supports our core Google Cloud Platform philosophy: we want developers to focus on code, not worry about managing infrastructure. Starting today, startups can take advantage of this offer and begin using the same infrastructure platform we use at Google."
