WhiteGold Solutions has launched a new mobility practice, with newly appointed vendor Good Technology as the first member.
"With secure mobility becoming so pervasive, the distribution partnership will cover a broad landscape of industry sectors," said Dominic Whitehand, WhiteGold Solutions managing director. "However, we expect particularly strong synergies in the financial services, legal, healthcare and government sectors."
The distribution agreement includes the Good Collaboration Suite, Good For Enterprise and Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform products.
"WhiteGold not only provides invaluable experience of operating across the Australian channel landscape, but the company is also quickly gaining a solid understanding of our value proposition around secure mobility and containerisation,” said David Cockerham, Good Technology 's APAC channel sales director.
WhiteGold has a reach of more than 2000 resellers. The deal includes "training, pre- and post-sales support, technical support, lead generation, the streamlining of processes such as renewals automation and partner enablement."
In 2012, Good Technology announced Express Data (ED) as its local distributor. A spokesperson from ED’s parent, Dicker Data, confirmed that Express Data will continue to actively promote and sell the range of Good Technology products for the next 90 days. "Beyond that point, Express Data will no longer be representing Good Technology."
Good Technology is a specialist in corporate mobile security with more than 5000 customers spread across 184 countries, according to the vendor. Last month the company held a Mobility Summit in Sydney, during which it emphasised the future of corporate mobility.
