Distributor JEA Technologies is recalling the Gigabyte JMT22 all-in-one touch PC due to a fire danger.
Made by Taiwanese vendor Gigabyte, the computer has an internal connector that may overheat and cause a fire, according to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
The recall is for model number PC-TMT22-G-XXX, which can be seen on the back of the computer.
According to JEA Technologies, around 85 units of the product were sold nationally through resellers IQ Multi Media, Comserv, Easy Web, Stowe Australia and Touch Screen Solutions between 1 September 2014 and 1 March 2016.
ACCC announced consumers should contact JEA Technologies for remediation. The distributor told CRN it would repair all models, including the units in stock.
