Fujitsu has established a new AWS practice in Australia, offering organisations comprehensive solutions, the technology company announced.

The new AWS practice will deliver technical services, design, implementation, management and optimisation services to Australian businesses.

"The Fujitsu AWS practice will help businesses of all sizes unlock the full potential of the cloud, enabling them to be more agile, innovative, and competitive," said Graeme Beardsell, chief executive officer of Fujitsu Asia Pacific.

The practice strengthens Fujitsu's Digital Acceleration Services portfolio, which provides expertise in cloud, security, data and enterprise solutions.

Industry veterans Daniel Wundersitz and Mark Telkes will spearhead the new AWS practice.

Wundersitz, previously built one of Australia's largest AWS practices at Telstra.

Telkes joins as senior sales executive from Telstra Purple, bringing extensive AWS business development experience.

"Australia has a range of AWS system integrators. Very few can offer the experience, scale, depth, and breadth of a global digital transformation partner like Fujitsu," said Wundersitz.

As a Premier AWS partner, Advanced Consulting Partner and Amazon Connect Partner, Fujitsu will provide cloud solutions, contact centre services and expertise in cloud optimisation.

The company's track record spans defence, public sector, health, retail and financial services sectors across Asia Pacific.

Fujitsu's technology partnerships extend beyond AWS, and includes membership in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association.

The company also holds SAP Gold Partner status and is recognised as a Leader in ISG's ServiceNow Ecosystem 2024 Australia study.

This AWS practice launch follows the recent establishment of Fujitsu Cyber Security Services, supporting organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

The cyber security team provides threat intelligence, incident response and digital forensics services.

Industry analysts IDC project the Australian cloud market will reach AU$38.1 billion by 2027.
