Fujitsu will offer a free cloud trial to independent software vendors (ISVs) and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) until January next year.
SVs and SMEs are now be able to test out Fujitsu’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings for two months at no charge.
Fujitsu is allowing companies to each use 10 economy virtual machines containing a CentOS Operating System, 1 x 1GHZ CPU, 1.7 GB Memory, 10 GB Operating System Disk and 30 GB Additional Disk (maximum capacity). Registered organisations will be granted use of one internet connection with one public IP address, as well as access to the company’s infrastructure support.
A/NZ CTO and general manger Craig Baty said the offer is a result of increased demand following
Fujitsu’s launch of an enterprise-grade cloud computing service from two Sydney data centres in October last year.
"We are offering this free trial as a demonstration of our commitment to the Australian businesses. We are confident that the platform will deliver excellent value to our customers in adopting it as a cloud platform to enable business growth,” said Baty.
