Fortinet salutes top Australian partners

Fortinet has announced the winners of its Australia Partner of the Year Awards for 2023.

The awards recognise the achievements of partners that have helped customers transition from conventional network infrastructures securely.

The awards are judged on revenue growth year over year; commitment to advancing through training, including gaining specialisations and earning certifications; enhancing innovation and executive engagement; and success in leading customer initiatives with Fortinet.

Orro Group took home the Partner of the Year award, while Canberra's CBR Cyber, which finished second in the 2023 CRN Fast50, was named Government Partner of the Year.

The Growth Partner of the Year award went to Aussie Broadband, while Melbourne MSP Centorrino Technologies was handed the MSSP or Service Provider of the Year award.

Telstra was named Telco Partner of the Year, Macquarie Cloud Services took home the Cloud Partner of the Year honour, and Sydney's mcrIT was named SecOps Partner of the Year.

Meanwhile, DXC Technology was recognised as OT Partner of the Year, Sydney MSP Brennan snagged the Enterprise Partner of the Year award, Vocus was named SASE Partner of the Year, and Wavelink was awarded Distributor of the Year.

“Fortinet is pleased to announce the winners of its 2023 Australia partner awards, extending its thanks to each partner for their dedicated efforts over the past year," said John Milionis, channel sales director for Australia at Fortinet.

"The awards are a nod to the outstanding achievements of Fortinet’s partners throughout 2023, showcasing their commitment to delivering superior outcomes and customer experiences amid the rise of sophisticated ransomware attacks, increasing supply chain risks, and the prevalence of zero-day exploits and advanced persistent threats.”

“Fortinet continues to ramp up marketing, distribution, training, and support efforts, including enhanced training for sales, technical, and presales/architect roles, to empower its partners for success."

"In 2024, the company’s focus on innovation and excellence aims to drive growth and support its partners to meet new and evolving customer challenges created by work-from-anywhere models, hybrid IT environments, and the evolving threat landscape through Fortinet’s Engage Partner Program and enablement tools for partners.”
