Fortinet appoints Gavin Lipman as Australian enterprise lead

Fortinet has appointed Gavin Lipman to the role of enterprise director in Australia.

In his new role, Lipman's responsibilities will include leading the enterprise team to achieve growth targets, spearheading strategic sales initiatives to enter new market segments, enhancing customer success programs and developing partnerships.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry across sales execution, customer success programs and strategic leadership.

Lipman joins Fortinet after 15 years with Cisco, where he most recently served as managing director of enterprise for almost four years.

He previously had stints at SUN Microsystems, IBM, SAS Australia and COMPAREX.

“I’m excited to join Fortinet and lead the enterprise team in Australia in the fight against some of the industry’s biggest challenges to keep up with escalating threats," Lipman said.

Lipman's experience includes constructing large complex deals, developing sales strategies and cultivating partnerships, Fortinet said.

He also has experience leading teams of over 150 professionals and managing revenues exceeding US$350 million.
