Certis, the security vendor owned by the Singapore government investment fund Temasek, has named technology veteran Ng Tian Beng as its new president and group chief executive officer.
Ng replaces Paul Chong, who will transition to an advisory role to the chairman before retiring in March 2026.
He will lead 26,000 staff, including Certis' 3000 strong Australian workforce.
The incoming chief executive brings more than 25 years of technology sector experience to the Ops-Tech solutions provider, with extensive expertise in strategic leadership and business growth.
"Tian Beng's appointment marks a new chapter for Certis," Allen Lew, chairman of Certis, said.
Ng joins Certis after a career at Dell Technologies, where he most recently served as senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan.
In his previous role, he managed partnerships with distributors, system integrators, resellers, and independent software vendors while serving as site leader for Dell Singapore.
Certis was engaged by privately owned Gold Coast Light Rail Link for its operations technology and physical security expertise in 2023.
