Fishbowl, whose management and inventory software taps into Xero and QuickBooks, has launched its cloud-based AI operations platform in APAC.
The AI platform introduces an AI operations assistant called ‘Juno’ and an AI manufacturing component which prepares jobs by checking materials, flagging shortages and generating work orders.
The platform is aimed at the SMB market and is designed to deliver intelligent automation to manufacturing teams while reducing manual processes.
Fishbowl claims the Juno assistant is more than a chatbot, instead acting as an autonomous operations specialist doing the work traditionally handled by planners, buyers and production leads.
The company also says the platform continuously evaluates critical manufacturing workflow data, including vendor lead times, orders, inventory and bills of material, all using AI.
“This launch marks a significant shift. We’ve built a cloud-based, AI-native platform that supports daily operations, whether it’s turning sales orders into work orders or generating complex bills of materials," said Simon Jupe, MD for APAC at Fishbowl.
"It’s about moving from reactive management to intelligent execution and scalable operational growth. With Juno, businesses can use the new Fishbowl AI operations platform to analyse business data and autonomously prepare, prioritise, and streamline daily manufacturing execution.
“For businesses that rely on a handful of experienced team members manually reconciling orders, stock levels, materials, and supplier timelines, this new capability removes daily preparation burdens with intelligent automation, supporting scale without the cost.”
Fishbowl’s AI-first, cloud-based operations platform – starting with Juno as part of the new AI Manufacturing capability – is now available to businesses across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader APAC region.
