First Focus has acquired Melbourne based IT provider Rock IT and is looking for more acquisition opportunities.
The acquisition is the sixth in three years for First Focus, which will absorb Rock IT’s Victorian and Philippines teams into its workforce. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
First Focus will “continue to look for opportunities where we can augment our organic growth with acquisitions such as this,” said First Focus CEO Ross Sardi.
There “may yet to be time left in 2023 for another deal to be completed”, First Focus announcement stated.
“Where we feel able to augment existing services, deliver great outcomes for a MSPs existing client base, and extend our reach in existing markets - we will absolutely look to continue with our current rate of acquisitions,” Sardi said.
Both companies were founded in 2003 and Rock IT’s offerings include managed services IT support, IT support, cloud services, manage data protection and recovery, managed networks and SD-WAN.
“Rock IT is a great example of an aligned company, it’s an award winning brand, and has an extremely capable team,” Sardi said.
Nik Devidas, Managing Director of Rock IT, said, “I am so proud of what we have built here at Rock IT, that is why it was so important for me to that if we were to sell Rock IT, it had to be to the best operator in the market.”

First Focus’s previous acquisitions have included Brisbane-based ICT solutions specialist Ordyss and Mitel partner Flexnet.
