ESET ramps up channel expansion with new distie

ESET has appointed inTechnology Distribution in Australia, after splitting with long-time distributor Antivirus Australia.

InTechnology will offer the full ESET line of endpoint security products for business along with marketing programs, technical support and financial services.

The deal also opens up a “wide variety of bundle opportunities” with other vendors, said inTechnology’s managing director for Asia Pacific, Mark Winter.

"We represent a number of vendors in the endpoint space, including Absolute Software’s MDM and their Computrace Persistent Mobile Theft Management technology along with Netop's remote control technology, and we will be looking at putting together bundles of these products with ESET’s offerings," Winter told CRN.

Resellers are also being promised an “attractive volume incentive program”, increased flexibility for resellers in securing credit, and a facilitated process for securing quotes and placing orders.

inTechnology was established in 1999 and has offices in Currumbin Waters in Queensland and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The company also distributes Acronis, Aerohive, Juniper and Smoothwall among other vendors.

ESET also announced a “back to basics” revamp of its business range last month.
