ESET has launched a pair of managed detection and response (MDR) subscription tiers in a range of APAC countries including Malaysia, New Zealand and Taiwan.

The tiers were previously launched in Australia, India and Singapore.

The first tier is ESET PROTECTION MDR, aimed at SMBs, while the second tier, ESET PROTECT MDR Ultimate, is directed at enterprise.

ESET PROTECT MDR is a cybersecurity package offering 24/7/365 protection. This includes protection for endpoints, email, and cloud applications, vulnerability detection and patching, and managed threat monitoring, hunting, and response.

For enterprises, ESET PROTECT MDR Ultimate offers continuous proactive protection and "enhanced" visibility, coupled with customised threat hunting and remote digital forensic incident response assistance.

ESET claims a six-minute mean time to respond (MTTR), which it said is the fastest in the industry. In comparison, it said the median time for an organisation to detect a breach is 24 days, citing a Verizon 2025 Data Breach Investigations Report.

The company also said its MDR is also designed to be deployed by MSPs in a single, solitary security service, intending to help the MSPs protect themselves as well as their clients.

“Our AI-powered MDR services bring together automation, human expertise and global threat intelligence to help organisations stay ahead of attacks rather than react to them," said Parvinder Walia, president of APAC Region, ESET.

"In today’s environment, the ability to detect and respond within minutes can be the difference between a minor incident and a significant breach.”

Earlier this month, ESET  launched ESET Cloud Workload Protection as part of an update to its cloud-first XDR cybersecurity platform, ESET PROTECT.
