ESET adds Anyware Corporation to its Australian distributors lineup

IT security vendor ESET has appointed Anyware Corporation as its Australian distributor for its range of protection software, both in the commercial and consumer sectors.

The agreement marks Anyware, a subsidiary of Harris Technology, as a major ESET distributor, with broad access to licensing and technical support. The distributor will offer ESET Business and Personal security licensing and software for applications across servers, workstations and mobile devices.

Anyware Corporation managing director Garrison Huang said the agreement would bolster ESET’s position in the Australian market.

“ESET has established a strong reputation for protecting consumers and Anyware has the distribution power to reach those consumers at all levels of retail or business. We expect this partnership to benefit our customers while widening the market for the brand," he said.

"Cybersecurity is clearly one of the most crucial concerns facing both businesses and individuals in the present and future."

ESET managing director Florin Vasile said the agreement came as businesses looked to tighten security levels.

“With cyber-attacks doubling each year in Australia, businesses are now more vulnerable than ever to malicious activity. Having reliable protection and support should be the number one priority for businesses, and we’re excited to be addressing this need together with Anyware,” he said.

ESET also has local distributor partnerships with Microbe, OCS and Chillisoft.
